Forever the makeup artist for friends & family, Heid's professional career in beauty started shortly after college as a freelancer at Saks Fifth Avenue. Her position evolved to that of Personal beauty liaison for Saks's preferred clientele and that experience of working with real women taught her how to enhance a person's best features, and it is there that her appreciation for bringing out natural beauty was perfected. Known for her light touch, her range runs the gamut from the most natural looks to the avant garde. Her work is featured in print, broadcast, film and editorial projects and has collaborated with several fashion designers in developing their runway looks for Fashion Week each season. Additionally, Heidi owned a beauty loft on 5th Ave in NYC where her artistry influenced both her everyday customers and celebrity clientele alike.
